The green will be opened for the 2026 season on Saturday 11 April at 1.45 pm when the President Martin Rushby will raise the club flag and bowl the first bowl on the green. Members can then play their first match of the season (dress code greys and club shirt).
On Sunday 12 April there will be a coffee morning for anyone who is interested in learning to play bowls - 10.30 to 12.30. Come and have a go and learn about the club and the sport.
Monthly coffee mornings continue to be held on the first Wednesday of each month from 9.45 am - 10.30 am.

Update - Any shirts ordered by Members in February will be available for collection at the clubhouse from the coffee morning on 1 April 2026 onwards.
At the last AGM members voted to adopt the white shirt with the new logo as the club shirt. Many of you wore them last season and the general opinion is that they are a good quality at a reasonable price. This shirt will be part of the club dress code and must be worn for all league matches, internal competitions, Monday afternoon league and other days such as Presidents Day and the Opening game for the new season. Details on how to order the shirts are on the Social Events notice board in the club house and under the For Sale tab on this website.
The sign up sheets are now on the noticeboard at the clubhouse for the revised Internal Competitions. Details are also in Club Competitions tab on this site.Payment ( either cash or electronic ) is to be made at the time of signing up. Each entry costs £2.
