The green re-opened 12th April 2025. Coffee mornings are held on the first Wednesday of each month from 9.45 am - 10.30 am( approx finish time) all year round.

Internal Competitions- the closing date for 1st round games has been extended to the end of Wednesday 25th June.
The home match scheduled for 29 June 2025 with The Deepings has had to be cancelled as they cannot raise a team. Thanks to all of our members who signed up for this game.

Even more good news! Our Thursday League team have also reached the semi final of The Badley Cup after a resounding 74- 42 win over Louth St. James.Their reward is a home semi final on 10 July against Friskney.
Well done to our Friday Afternoon League team on reaching the semi finals of The Jim Dunn Cup after a convincing 65-29 victory over Friskney. They will now play a home semi final on Monday 7 July against Suncastle.

Presidents’ Day on 14 June 2025 was well attended. The bowling and the “ Chippy tea” were enjoyed by all. Thanks to the Dolphin Fish and Chip shop for the delicious food at a reasonable price.
Date for your diaries- The Annual Ruby Osbourne & Steve Moore Trophy matches against Alford are now to be played on Saturday 12 July at Alford Bowls Club.The relevant team sheets are now on the noticeboard at clubhouse. Please sign up as soon as possible to give Captains Pauline Lyddall & Martin Rushby chance to assess the wealth of talent at their disposal!
It is proposed to look at introducing a club shirt for next season.Are you prepared to pay £30+ for a shirt? A notice has been put up in clubhouse to give you the opportunity to vote yes or no to this proposal.Closing date for this vote is end of coffee morning on 6 August 2025.In the meantime if anyone is interested in purchasing the existing team shirts at £8 each please let Ray know.

Need a change of bowls for the new season? There are a few sets of second hand bowls on display at the clubhouse that are available to buy at reasonable prices. There are also items of clothing for sale at very affordable prices on the clothes rack and in both team dressing rooms.

Availability sheets are up on team notice boards..Any new players who want to add their names to lists from now onwards will be allocated to a team by the Match Secretary after consulting the appropriate team captain.

Are you interested in playing bowls?

Potential new members are welcome to come to one of our "Try Before You Join" sessions any Wednesday or Saturday afternoon at 2 pm. commencing Wednesday 16th April 2025 where members play a friendly roll up and you can join in to learn about the sport and membership options available to you.
We have shoes and bowls that you can borrow. You can also come to our Coffee Mornings between 9.45am and 10.30am (approx finish time) on every first Wednesday of the month throughout the year at the club house to find out more.
